Drori’s text is the most comprehensive overview of the foundational techniques that undergird modern AI.
Madeleine Udell
Assistant Professor of Management Science and Engineering, Stanford University
Drori’s book is an excellent exposition, demonstrating the huge impact of AI on science. The writing is eloquent and the examples are very effective.
Dov Te’eni
Professor of Management, Tel Aviv University
Artificial intelligence is the industrial revolution of our time, reshaping how we work, create, and discover. Drori’s book does a wonderful job simplifying the key subjects underlying AGI, presenting them with clear, accessible writing and exceptionally helpful graphics, and is an ideal guide for readers who want a solid mathematical grounding.
Avi Shporer
Research Scientist, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Drori’s book frames AGI as a closed‑loop architecture: foundation model, inference policy, tools, memory, verifier, and harness. The book develops the mathematical language needed to reason about each component and about their interactions. The prover–verifier framework, with its attention to latency, cost, noise, and specification gap, offers an elegant explanation of architectures across domains. The chapter on AI for mathematics is the clearest exposition I have seen on formal verification. Rigorous, beautifully illustrated, and deeply timely, Drori’s book is exactly the textbook the field needs right now.
Claudio Silva
Professor of Computer Science and Data Science, New York University
